Logo Design

During my years as a professional web designer I have additionally been asked to design and in some cases re-create various company logos. Initially I used Adobe Photoshop, but found Adobe Illustrator more advantageous due to its ability to re-scale vector images to any size.

For the 3D logos you can see in my portfolio I used 3ds Max to create these. I also did some work for a company called “Input Games”. The Input Games logo was created with 3ds Max and Mudbox to add the finer details. With Mudbox I use a Wacom graphics tablet, as it gives me finder control over the detailing.

I always design a logo with the essence and individuality of the company/product in mind. A distinctive logo design should look eye-catching in either colour or monochrome. It should both excite the viewer and promote company/product at the same time. I have recreated company logos from their original designs for clients, or if required designed new ones. I have marked the examples of the redesigned logos in the portfolio.
